Classical play at Greek theatre in Siracusa

In the suggestive location of the ancient Greek Theatre of Siracusa, every year, visitors from all over the world come to attend the Classical Plays. It's an unique experience to see the actors play the ancient tragedies of Aeschylus, Sophocles or Euripides in the same place where they were played more than 2000 years ago.

This classical tragedies festival is organized by more than hundred years, in fact, the first performance was in the year 1914.

The festival is organized by INDA foundation during the monhs of May until the first week of July.
